Toronto Scuba Centre is the only scuba training organization in the Greater Toronto Area to offer courses year-round, week-by-week, with the exception of holiday weekends. We do our best to make sure courses run regardless of enrolment numbers. To maintain the highest standards of training, course equipment, course consistency and the relationships with our training facilities, teaching staff and with PADI, we incur and commit to substantial costs. Cancellations and changes by customers are sometimes unavoidable and we understand that. In order to be able to continue to offer those high standards, however, it is necessary for some of those costs to be borne by the customer in the event of a cancellation or schedule change.
When a course needs to be rescheduled with less than 1 week's notice, we must unfortunately charge an administrative fee. This fee is used to cover the facility rental fees and instructor costs associated with our courses, since we are effectively removing a spot from a future course without the ability to backfill the original course spot.
This fee must be paid before the new course date will be secured. Upon payment, your requested course date will be secured, assuming availability on that date.
